Create a fun, welcoming environment
As a Studio Social instructor, you’ll:
Guide a group of up to 16 participants through a hands-on project
Keep the energy light, social, and engaging
Help guests feel comfortable, even if they’ve never done anything creative before
Follow a simple structure so events run smoothly
You’re not teaching a traditional class. You’re guiding a fun, engaging experience.
We’re looking for projects that are:
Beginner-friendly
Completed in about 90 minutes
Low-mess and easy to manage in a shared space
Something people are excited to take home
Examples:
Watercolor painting
Acrylic painting (canvas, glass, pottery, or wood)
Floral arranging
Jewelry making
Macrame
Decoupage or collage
Crochet, embroidery, or felt
Terrariums
Studio Social takes care of:
Booking and ticketing
Venue coordination
Marketing and promotion
Insurance coverage
Participant communication
Payment collection and distribution
Event structure and flow
Supply sourcing and payment
Equipment setup
Setup and teardown
You’ll be responsible for:
Designing your project
Guiding guests step-by-step
Keeping the event on time
Creating a welcoming, fun environment
Communicating any supply needs clearly in advance
Materials prep
Instructors are paid $125 per event. Events typically run about 1.5 to 2 hours and require light preparation ahead of the session.
As we grow, there may be additional opportunities for:
Higher rates for specialty classes
Repeat bookings
Featured or premium events
Private event bookings
